Noir, as a whole, is instrumental. It takes us back to Lusophony and highlights Fado.
It involves a play of forces between melancholy and levity.
At the same time as loneliness moves towards some form of transcendence, the evocative The Lady from Shanghai carries the classics of Kubrick and Nolan in a touch of science fiction, in the first track that gives it its name.
There is room to remember Ruy Belo, in a heavy way; there is room for the lightness of Valter Lobo.
We live from the convergence of opposites and the divergence of equals. There is no line, there is a will.
Experimentalism is the motto, a club created in the 1940s is the location.
From the suggestive spatial and temporal setting of Noir, we move on to question the existence of this space - which it is not important to define here - today.
There is manipulation. How can it also be reinvented?
Is it even possible?
